Yossi Milo Gallery Presents Yonathan Moore Studio's VOLUTES
Yossi Milo Gallery is hosting VOLUTES: New Works by Yonathan Moore Studio, opening June 24 from 6-8 PM at The Qube. The exhibition follows the debut during NYCxDESIGN 2026 and introduces large-scale works using Flux Metal Drape, the studio's proprietary aluminum fabrication system. This system employs two custom interlocking aluminum extrusions to create rippling metal surfaces with variable wave frequency, rhythm, and scale. Moore developed the technique after years of studying aluminum extrusion, a process common in architecture and manufacturing but typically used for hidden utility. Flux Metal Drape reimagines extrusion as a medium for drawing in metal, producing surfaces that generate a visual effect of continuous motion.
