Wild Souls at PUNTO SULL’ARTE Varese Explores Childhood and Instinct

On May 16, 2026, PUNTO SULL’ARTE in Varese opens 'WILD SOULS', a dual solo exhibition curated by Alessandra Redaelli featuring painter Claudia Giraudo and sculptor Simone Benedetto. The show investigates childhood as a mental and spiritual state where ancestral instinct remains untamed by social conventions. Giraudo (Turin, 1974) presents layered paintings inspired by Renaissance and Flemish masters, depicting children with 'guide animals' symbolizing inner daimons and metamorphosis. Benedetto (Turin, 1985) creates sculptures in bronze, resin, and concrete that fuse anatomy with nature, using cherry branches and monstera leaves to suggest transformation. The installation, enhanced by Cellini Fiori, turns the gallery at Viale Sant’Antonio 59/61 into an immersive environment. The exhibition runs from May 16 to June 13, 2026, with a vernissage on May 16 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
