West End Revival of Shadowlands Explores CS Lewis and Joy Davidman's Relationship
A revival of William Nicholson's play Shadowlands is running at London's Aldwych Theatre until May 9. The production, originally staged at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2019, portrays the real-life relationship between British author CS Lewis and American poet Joy Davidman. Hugh Bonneville and Maggie Siff lead the cast as Lewis and Davidman, with Jeff Rawle playing Lewis's brother.
