Weico Architects Completes XPeng Headquarters in Guangzhou with X-Shaped Design
Architecture studio Weico has finished constructing a new headquarters for Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng in Guangzhou's Tianhe district. The complex consists of two angular office buildings arranged around twin courtyards, accommodating 13,000 employees. The design features a roof that forms an X shape, referencing the company's branding, and includes photovoltaic panels. Facilities include research centers, showrooms, a testing center, conference spaces, a fitness center, and a staff canteen in the basement. The project connects to the Cencun subway station via an underground corridor and includes separate buildings for a flagship store and flying car operations.
