Weave Robotics Isaac 1: A Wheeled Home Robot for Laundry

Weave Robotics has introduced Isaac 1, a home robot designed for laundry and tidying that avoids the humanoid form. Built in San Francisco, it uses a wheeled base and two articulated arms, rising from three feet to five feet nine inches. Its compact footprint is 20.5 by 22 inches, with an 80-inch vertical reach and 38-inch horizontal reach. The robot is wrapped in removable fabric shells in colors like Sage, Gray, Slate Blue, Terracotta, and Vesper, making it resemble furniture. Isaac 1 operates autonomously but can request teleoperation support when needed. Users control it via an app, with an eight-hour battery and two-hour recharge. Preorders are open now, with first California deliveries in fall 2026 and wider US availability in 2027. The price is $7,999 or $449 per month via subscription. The design moves away from humanoid fantasies, focusing on practical functionality.
