Wannenes seeks buyer for former church housing Parmiggiani installation

Wannenes Properties, the real estate arm of the auction house, is seeking a buyer for the former Church of San Marcellino in Parma, which houses Claudio Parmiggiani's installation 'Naufragio con spettatore' (Shipwreck with Spectator). The work features an ark suspended over a sea of inked books, creating a dark reflective surface. Andrea Jacopo Fava, managing partner of Wannenes Properties, stated that the goal is to find a partner who understands the site's symbolic and cultural value. The company has initiated selective discussions with cultural institutions, contemporary art foundations, international galleries, and institutional entities.
