Wandrd Launches Magnetic Camera Strap System on Kickstarter
Wandrd has introduced a new magnetic camera strap system on Kickstarter, featuring proprietary Magnetic CoreLock and Torus Link technology. The system, developed over two and a half years, uses self-centering magnets and dual-sided spring-loaded locking buttons for one-handed attachment and secure connection under load. Components are made from PA66 fiberglass reinforced nylon to avoid scratching cameras. Three strap options are available: a 30mm Camera Strap, a 15mm Lite Strap, and a 15mm Wrist Strap, each in Black, Wasatch Green, and Wandrd Red. Neck straps include integrated on-body storage and ship with four Torus Links for multi-camera workflows. Torus Links have a visual wear indicator with three zones (black, yellow, red). A DIY Kit adapts third-party straps to the system. Kickstarter pricing runs from July 14, 2026, with retail availability expected November 7, 2026.
