Volkswagen Extends Museum Partnerships in Berlin Through 2027

institutional · 2026-03-24

Volkswagen Group has prolonged its collaborations with two Berlin museums for an additional two years. The partnerships with Neue Nationalgalerie and Hamburger Bahnhof, ongoing since 2012, will continue through 2027. Key initiatives include the Art4All program offering free or discounted admission, tours, and educational activities, which reportedly attracted approximately 400,000 participants in 2025. At Neue Nationalgalerie, the program will be modified starting in April to provide complimentary entry on the first Thursday afternoon each month, accompanied by performances and concerts, beginning with a recital by French pianist David Kadouch. Hamburger Bahnhof will receive support for educational programming as Volkswagen becomes its Lead Partner of Education. The agreement also includes fellowships and curatorial grants for emerging professionals. Museum officials and corporate representatives emphasized the partnerships' role in broadening public access to art and supporting cultural engagement.
