Vogue's Texas Homecoming: Fashion, Family, and Tradition in the Lone Star State

Vogue's Summer 2026 feature 'Lone Star State of Mind: Snapshots of Texas Today' showcases a series of fashion editorials set across Texas, highlighting family, tradition, and local culture. The Ocean of Soul marching band from Texas Southern University, which performed with Beyoncé in 2024, is featured celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. Models Alex Hartnett, Sara Grace Wallerstedt, and Erin Wasson appear alongside local figures like Nathan McWhorter from Bruno's Triangle Seven Rodeo Arena, one of Houston's few Black-owned rodeo arenas.
