Visual Identity System Created for Architecture Firm 6A by The Lab Saigon
In December 2021, The Lab Saigon, a creative agency, unveiled a new branding and visual identity system for 6A, an architecture practice. The project was led by Andree Nguyen, who served as graphic designer alongside other team members including Trang Dinh and Tran N Nguyen. The creative direction was provided by Felix Ng from Anonymous Singapore, with Nick Hum as Associate Creative Director. The identity was conceived to reflect the firm's multidisciplinary methodology and to inject the founders' playful character into the architectural sector, which is often perceived as formal. The name 6A originates from the street number of the company's initial office location. A modular word mark was developed, intended to symbolize the firm's varied approach, and this design principle extends to proportions used in printed materials. The overarching concept suggests that architecture can evoke delight and astonishment, moving beyond mere utility. The production team included roles such as copywriter Tuan Le, account director Phuong Anh Nguyen, account manager Huyen Vo, account executive Khoa Do, producer Hanh Le, motion graphics by Callimotion, and photographer Duong Gia Hieu. This rebranding effort represents a strategic visual communication initiative within the professional services industry.
