Violin Maker Yoshiharu Ito Bridges Renaissance and Japanese Aesthetics

Violin maker Yoshiharu Ito, based in Nagoya, Japan, explores the intersection of Renaissance proportion and Japanese aesthetics in his craft. He references the 2007 Joshua Bell experiment in a Washington, D.C. subway, where a Stradivari violin went unnoticed, illustrating Daniel Kahneman's WYSIATI concept.
