Vietnam's First National Pavilion at 2026 Venice Biennale Features 10 Artists

Vietnam is set to make its first appearance at the 61st Venice Biennale with the national pavilion titled "Viet Nam: Art in the Global Flow," under the curation of Đỗ Tường Linh. The exhibition will feature works from ten artists, including Lê Hữu Hiếu, Nguyễn Thành Chương, and Đoàn Thị Thu Hương, hosted at the Ca’ Giustinian Faccanon palace. A highlight of the show is Lê Hữu Hiếu's immersive installation Tằm, which includes twelve sculptural deities and a significant lacquer painting, delving into themes of memory and transformation. Lê, who has a background in architecture, has been active for over ten years and previously showcased at the Arsenale Nord in Venice in 2021. The Biennale is scheduled from May 9 to November 22, 2026.
