Venice Biennale Showcases 100 Posters from Its Historical Archive in Asiago Exhibition

The Venice Biennale is organizing an exhibition titled 'A Story of the Biennale Arte in 100 Posters from the Historical Archive of the Venice Biennale,' set to run from March 28 to September 20, 2026, at the Le Carceri Museum in Asiago, Vicenza. Presented by the Historical Archive – International Research Center on Contemporary Arts of the Biennale, in partnership with the Municipality of Asiago, the display features original posters and reproductions spanning from the inaugural 1895 edition to the 2024 Biennale Arte. The opening will include Debora Rossi, head of the Biennale's Historical Archive, along with Asiago's Mayor Roberto Rigoni Stern and Deputy Mayor for Culture Ludovica Tondello. The exhibition traces the evolution of graphic design and the institution's ties to Venice, highlighting artists and designers like Augusto Sezanne and Carlo Scarpa, and includes a projection showing changes in exhibition spaces over time.
