Vatican's 'Doors of Hope' Art Initiative Expands to Italian Prisons with Stefano Boeri Installation in Brescia

The Vatican's 'Doors of Hope' project continues with a new installation by Stefano Boeri Architetti in Brescia, Italy. Two identical wooden doors, each three meters high, have been placed at the Nerio Fischione prison and in Piazzale Arnaldo. This initiative, organized by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis, aims to strengthen connections between society and prisons through art and educational programs following the Jubilee year. The Brescia installation includes a digital display showing job and training opportunities for inmates. The project will expand to other Italian prisons with contributions from notable cultural figures including Fabio Novembre, Gianni Dessì, Mario Martone, Massimo Bottura, Mimmo Paladino, and Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta.
