Valerio Adami Catalogue Raisonné Announced, 1958–1978 Focus

In Milan, the Archivio Valerio Adami is undertaking the creation of a Catalogue Raisonné dedicated to the works of Valerio Adami, under the guidance of curator Lorenzo Madaro. Spanning the years 1958 to 1978, the initiative will include both an online platform and a printed edition. Established in 2021 by Adami's family, with Valeria Cantoni Mamiani serving as president, the archive encourages collectors and institutions to submit works for inclusion. The project aspires to chronicle over sixty years of Adami's artistic journey, focusing on philological accuracy and previously unpublished pieces. The initial section of the catalogue and a monograph are anticipated by late 2027 or early 2028, alongside plans to digitize Adami's drawings and establish a new space in Milan for emerging artists.
