V House in Ho Chi Minh City by 23o5Studio Completed in 2023

The V House, a residential project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was completed in 2023 by the architectural firm 23o5Studio. The project was curated by Miwa Negoro and led by architect Ngô Việt Khánh Duy, with Võ Thanh Linh as lead team member and Mai Tiến Ninh on the design team. The house covers an area of 400 square meters and falls under the category of residential architecture. Photographs of the completed structure were taken by Hiroyuki Oki. The design avoids conventional large rectangular spaces, instead incorporating elements like rooftops, verandas, screens, and gardens, inspired by architectural styles from the existential era. A narrow pathway from the front yard leads to the main entrance, which is positioned behind a screen. Inside, the living area is expansive and connects to the backyard and open sky. Manufacturers involved in the project include Areus by BM windows, Bosch, DAIKIN AIR CONDITIONER, Eurostone, Trường Thắng, and Unios Vietnam. This project represents contemporary architectural practices in Vietnam, focusing on innovative residential design that blends traditional features with modern aesthetics.
