Umberto Benappi Elected President of TAG – Torino Art Galleries

Umberto Benappi has been elected as the new President of TAG – Torino Art Galleries for the term spanning 2026 to 2029, following the tenure of Elisabetta Chiono. Chiono, who led for three years, significantly bolstered TAG's position within Turin's cultural landscape and initiated various projects, including a cultural exchange with Palma de Mallorca set for 2025. Born in Turin in 1984, Benappi established Galleria Umberto Benappi in 2010. His vision includes improving the association's framework, enhancing ties with institutions, and increasing financial resources. He intends to build upon Chiono's achievements, prioritizing organizational development, fostering institutional communication, and promoting member galleries to enhance Turin's contemporary art reputation both nationally and internationally.
