Tyler Brûlé's Routine Circuits: From St Moritz to Toronto

In a personal piece for Monocle, editor-in-chief Tyler Brûlé shares his enjoyment of regular walking and running paths across various cities, including St Moritz, Zürich, Lisbon, and Toronto. He details his morning loop in St Moritz, which encircles the lake and offers a forest detour. In Zürich, his path leads to the lake, along the shoreline, into the woods, back through the village for coffee, and then homeward for another kilometer. In Lisbon, he frequents Campo Grande and Alvalade. After flying to Toronto, his Saturday morning included a circuit through Old Mill, Baby Point, Annette Street, a flat white at Organic Press Café, a beard trim at The Baby Point Barbershop, and a stop for newspapers on Bloor Street. He then traveled from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to The Ojibway Club at Pointe au Baril on Georgian Bay via a Cessna Caravan flown by Joel and Conor, spending 36 hours with his friend Christine and her family, relishing the scenery, architecture, and boat excursions. The return trip featured dinner at Taberna LX in Toronto, followed by a flight back to Zürich with his mother for their summer season at the bathing club.
