TwoLips Debuts Genre-Defying LP "DIE ON EVERY HILL"

TwoLips, the moniker of multi-racial Black and Indigenous artist Kianah LongChase, has released her debut LP "DIE ON EVERY HILL." The album aggressively blends electro-goth, industrial textures, punk, hip hop, funk, and electro pop, rejecting industry expectations that funnel Black voices into R&B or pop. Produced with longtime collaborator Lightfoot, the record features tracks like "RESISTANCE," "CHASE THE RABBIT," "BLACK NATIVE," "CALIFORNIA SERENADE," and "CONTRABAND." LongChase, who splits time between New Mexico and Downtown Los Angeles, draws on her background in visual art, dance, and circus performance to create an interdisciplinary live show that has already appeared at SXSW and Berlin. The album is described as a mission statement showcasing her versatility and gritty edge.
