Traitors Winner Harry Clark Documents Vatican Meeting with Pope Leo XIV in BBC Film

Harry Clark, winner of the television series The Traitors, has met with Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican as part of a new BBC documentary titled Harry Clark Goes to Rome. The encounter, which occurred recently, was arranged to explore Clark's personal questions about faith and Catholicism. Clark, who was raised Catholic, described struggling with his religious beliefs and mental health after joining the British Army at age 16, experiencing loss of friends and personal challenges including a serious injury. He credits returning to prayer, advised by his mother, with helping him regain perspective. In the documentary, Clark details his efforts to secure the meeting, including attempts to contact the Vatican directly. During the private audience, Clark and the Pope discussed topics such as mental health and suicide, with the pontiff emphasizing the value of life. Clark presented the Pope with a Chelsea Football Club jersey personalized with "Pope Leo 14," and noted the Pope's awareness of his personal history.
