Tokio Hotel Announces Seventh Album ENCORE, Out 16 October, with Arena Tour and Berlin Pop-Up

Tokio Hotel is set to drop their seventh studio album, ENCORE, on October 16, with its lead single titled "Changes." The band, made up of brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, will celebrate two decades since their first hit "Durch den Monsun" in 2025, which was later released in English as "Monsoon" in 2007. This upcoming album features a more ethereal sound with expansive guitars and layered vocals, evident in songs like "Shout 2 the Universe," "Without You," "Dye My Hair," and "Homesick." They’ve previously ventured into darker synth-pop with albums like Humanoid and Kings of Suburbia. Bill Kaulitz was featured in SLEEK's September 2024 issue, discussing themes of aging and the band's connection. They've sold over 10 million records globally and have received numerous awards. Their Arena Tour kicks off at the end of October, nearly sold out, with a second tour planned for summer 2027. A pop-up shop will open in Berlin from October 18-20, along with an album launch event at Velodrom on October 25. The album explores the balance between universal themes and the brothers' personal experiences, reflecting Bill's commitment to authenticity.
