Till Megerle's solo exhibition 'Mikropolitik' at Acappella Gallery in Naples presents a series of works exploring microscopic power dynamics through intricate drawing techniques. The artist, born in Bayreuth and active in Vienna, returns to Naples with this show, transforming Vico Santa Maria a Cappella Vecchia into an observatory of infinitesimal existence. Works include 'Friday' (2021), featuring a face rendered with pen and pencil in dense marks that heighten psychological intensity. 'Beato' employs tempera and colored pencil within a frame made by the artist, creating a dreamlike, sacred image. 'Kita' (2025) depicts a collective scene with archaic and contemporary qualities using ink pen and colored pencil on paper, framed by the artist. 'Gimme Yr Phone' (2023) layers ink pen, watercolor marker, ballpoint pen, colored pencil, and paint to capture a tense gesture around technological possession. 'Sprechstunde' (2024) uses cut paper and metallic marker to create a bas-relief of golden shadows within an artist-made frame.
