Three-time World's Strongest Man Tom Stoltman joins BBC's Gladiators

Tom Stoltman, a 32-year-old from Invergordon in the Highlands and a three-time World's Strongest Man champion, is set to join the cast of the BBC's popular series Gladiators for its fourth season. Standing at 6ft 8in (203cm), he made history as the first Scot to claim the World's Strongest Man title in 2021, successfully defending it in 2022 and again in 2024. Additionally, he has been named Britain's Strongest Man four times, with his latest victory occurring in February 2026 against Adam Bishop and Paddy Haynes. Unfortunately, a hand injury affected his performance in the 2026 World's Strongest Man competition, resulting in his exit during the qualifying rounds. Filming for the new series will commence next month in Sheffield, with a premiere expected on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2027. Stoltman is yet to reveal his Gladiator name but has shared his enthusiasm for the role, aiming to motivate viewers to have faith in themselves.
