Theodor Nymark's Exhibition 'Diversione' Explores Landscape and Memory at Pachinko in Oslo

Theodor Nymark presents 'Diversione' at Pachinko in Oslo, running until April 4, 2026. The show stems from a residency at the Danish Institute in Rome, investigating landscape painting, urban theory, and cultivated spaces. It examines diversion as a concept involving detours and shifts between imagery, location, memory, and action. Accompanying texts are provided by Nikolaj Schultz, an assistant professor at Aarhus School of Architecture, and writer-curator Matteo Giovanelli. Nymark, an artist and curator, focuses on environmental metaphors, spirituality in a post-industrial context, and themes like art history and ecological governance. The project receives backing from Arts Council Norway.
