A theatrical production titled 'Bob et moi' is currently being staged at the Piccola Scala in Paris, featuring actor Alexandre Virapin in a solo performance. The show, which runs until May 26, 2026, presents an autobiographical narrative exploring Virapin's personal connection to reggae icon Bob Marley. Virapin, aged 34, recounts how discovering Marley's image during childhood helped him overcome personal struggles, framing this experience alongside the musician's own story. The performance blends elements of stand-up comedy with dramatic theater, offering insights into Marley's life and Jamaican cultural history. Directed by childhood friend Jules Meary, who also appears on stage, the production has previously been presented at venues including Mayotte and festivals in Mythos and Avignon.
