architecture-design · 2026-03-19

The Melange Studio, an Indian architecture firm, has completed the inaugural retail location for sneaker brand Gully Labs in New Delhi's Panchsheel Park neighborhood. The three-story, 3,000-square-foot space incorporates design elements like manhole covers, corrugated metal shutters, and locally sourced materials such as lakhori bricks to evoke Indian street culture. A large shoe-shaped sculpture hangs from the store's exterior facade. The interior includes a coffee counter, a personalization zone, a shoe-making museum, and a communal event space on the top floor. Over 50 local artisans contributed to the project, which aims to celebrate Indian craftsmanship and street vibrancy.
