The Darkness create theme for He-Man live-action reboot
The Darkness, a British rock group, has created a theme song for the forthcoming live-action remake of the 1980s animated series He-Man. Both guitarist Dan Hawkins and his brother Justin, the lead vocalist and guitarist, cherished the show during their childhood. Dan Hawkins shared with BBC Look East that score composer Daniel Pemberton desired a theme that was "as camp as He-Man and as rocking as Queen." Additionally, the soundtrack for Masters of the Universe includes contributions from Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen. The band hails from Lowestoft, Suffolk.
