The Architect’s Newspaper May/June Issue Celebrates Events and Community

The May/June issue of The Architect’s Newspaper is now available, emphasizing the importance of in-person events for architecture and design culture. The editor reflects on how gatherings—from office visits to biennales—foster community, contrasting meaningful connections with superficial online interactions. The issue highlights the success of Facades+ conference in Monterrey, Mexico, and upcoming events like NYCxDESIGN, NeoCon, and the AIA convention. A standout recent event was the Congreso Internacional de Arquitectura in Querétaro, organized by Casa de Arquitectura and led by Juan Alfonso “Poncho” Garduño Jardón and Maria de Los Angeles Garduño of G3 Arquitectos, along with Alfonso Jiménez of Anonimous.
