THAD SUP Atelier Completes Prefabricated Chaka Salt Lake Tourist Railway Station in Qinghai

THAD SUP Atelier has completed the Chaka Salt Lake Tourist Railway Station in Wulan County, Qinghai Province, China. The 3,997-square-meter structure serves as a landmark for the scenic area's upgrade. Designed by lead architects Song Yehao and Chen Xiaojuan, the project utilizes prefabricated steel and membrane structures. Digital technology integrated the concept, design deepening, and construction phases. The station provides space for transportation organization and leisure sightseeing. Curated by Han Shuang, the project involved a team including project architect Xie Dan and designers Yu Haiyue and Shi Lei. Professional engineers included Zhang Jin, Liu Zhaojun, Shu Tao for structural work, Feng Yi for electrical, Chen Chen as chief engineer, and Yu Liang for review. Shen Dan, General Manager of the Tea Card Salt Lake Scenic Area Design Project, was involved. Landscape architecture was handled by the Landscape Architecture Division of Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Planning and Design Institute. Lighting design came from Tsinghua University Architectural Design and Research Institute Tongyuan Lighting Studio. Photographs were taken by Yingnan Chu.
