Teurn Studios Resort 2027 relaunches after retail collapse

Swedish brand Teurn Studios, which collapsed last year due to unpaid American accounts, has relaunched with funding from Upsilon Investment and a new CEO, Cicki Ovansjö. Founder Anna Teurnell cited the inability to recover payments from major US clients as the reason for the brand's initial failure. The Resort 2027 collection retains Teurn's signature aesthetic, featuring crisp cotton shirts with collars, a cavalry twill coat with convertible collar, below-knee shorts, closer-to-body suiting, a waist-emphasizing blazer, a fringed black leather jacket inspired by Ralph Lauren, a midi-length pleated skirt, and an ivory cape top with an underarm seam for stability. Accessories include single diamanté earrings, fringed belts and bags, suede slip-ons in flat and kitten-heel versions, and a revisited '80s attaché case. Teurnell described the additions as making looks "more fun and more personal and feminine."
