Tarkett expands iQ flooring range with terrazzo-inspired vinyl collection
French flooring brand Tarkett has launched iQ Motion, a new homogeneous vinyl collection featuring 16 natural-toned, speckled designs that emulate terrazzo. Engineered for high-traffic environments like healthcare and education facilities, the single-layer vinyl offers durability, hygiene, and scratch resistance. As part of Tarkett's iQ range—claimed as the world's highest-performing homogeneous vinyl—iQ Motion is fully recyclable and carries a 20-year warranty. The collection includes hues such as Motion Petrol blue and Motion Soft Brick pink, designed to complement existing iQ products. According to Thomas Leneveu, Tarkett's vice president of the commercial business unit, the launch reflects continuous improvements in durability and reduced environmental impact. The brand states its iQ range has a circular carbon footprint at least 2.5 times lower than competitors. This follows Tarkett's recent announcement of carbon-negative linoleum ranges. Founded over 140 years ago, Tarkett promotes iQ Motion as built for circularity, with end-of-life return options.
