Talon Reed Cooper's 'False Prophet' Examines Sacred and Corrupted Power

Photographer and creative director Talon Reed Cooper has released 'False Prophet', a photographic series timed to America's 250th anniversary. The work explores the intertwining of the sacred, greed, and power, inspired by the biblical warnings of Zephaniah 3:3-4. Cooper employs Renaissance chiaroscuro to create a contemporary visual language that examines faith being reshaped by greed and power. The series features figures of innocence, excess, betrayal, judgment, purity, and corruption emerging from darkness, confronting the boundary between worship and consumption. The work does not question faith itself but the forces that corrupt it from within. The production credits include styling by Mando, production design by H.A.V.N, SFX design by Em Mua Lani, custom prosthetics by Dyad Mufx, and PR by Jpprcreativelab.
