Swiss Talks Series Explores Constructive Intelligence at Venice Architecture Biennale 2025

On November 11, 2025, the Swiss Talks project, organized by Istituto Svizzero and Casabella, will host a discussion titled 'Intelligenza Costruttiva. Artificial and Manual Perspectives in the Making and Unmaking of the Planet' at Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi in Venice. This event, part of the 2025 Architecture Biennale's theme 'Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective,' features contrasting perspectives from Fabio Gramazio of ETH Zurich, who focuses on computational robotics, and Martino Pedrozzi of Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, who emphasizes manual, collective labor. Moderated by curator Francesca Chiorino, the dialogue examines how Swiss architectural research addresses the relationship between science, technology, and territory. A closing roundtable includes Michel Carlana. The Swiss Talks series continues on December 10, 2025, in Milan with a session on alpine architecture and climate change.
