Swiss Duo Lo & Leduc Release Politically Charged Album 'Krise als Chanson'

Swiss dialect music duo Lo & Leduc, consisting of Lorenz Häberli and Luc Oggier, have released a new album titled 'Krise als Chanson' that marks their most overtly political work to date. They noted that their previous hit '079' sparked discussions about sexism despite being apolitical, and their prior album 'Luft' faced criticism for not addressing the Ukraine war, though they clarified that album was nearly complete before the conflict began. The artists expressed that their current work stems from increased urgency rather than external pressure. They also discussed the challenges of their political music receiving radio play due to its length, lack of chorus, and polarizing nature in dialect.
