Swann Galleries Summer Poster Auction Features Art Nouveau and War Propaganda

Swann Galleries will hold its annual summer poster auction on July 30, featuring a curated selection of Art Nouveau, war propaganda, travel, and advertising posters. The sale is led by works from Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, including 'Confetti' (1894), estimated at $30,000-40,000, which was one of five Lautrec posters in the first exhibition at London's Royal Aquarium organized by the British confetti company owners. Another highlight is 'L'Aube Revue Illustrée' (1896), printed for the left-wing periodical L'Aube, valued at $10,000-15,000. The auction also includes scarce war posters from both world wars and food and beverage advertisements, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts.
