exhibition · 2026-04-14

On Thursday, April 16, the Musée Guimet showcased 'Dancing Dance for me,' a choreographic film by Korean artist Sun-A Lee, as part of the Korea Year events. This piece fuses dance with cinematic projection, delving into intimate choreography that merges movement, music, and film. Directed by Kyeong-yeob Choo, the film conveys themes of emotional healing through the dancer's expressions, culminating in a final performance set in a snowy forest. Sun-A Lee, an alumnus of Korea National University of Arts, received the French Embassy Prize at the 2007 Yokohama Dance Collection. Kyeong-yeob Choo, who has directed 33 feature films, teaches at Dongseo University. The production collaborated with the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company and Arts Council Korea, alongside Club Artistik Rezo. Actor Jong-Hwan Park, a graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts, earned the Busan International Film Festival's Actor of the Year award in 2016.
