Summer 2026 Art Books: From Mass Tourism Critique to Fontana Studies
Artribune has unveiled its reading list for summer 2026, featuring nine new titles in art and culture. Among them is Rodolphe Christin's critique of mass tourism, 'Turismo di massa e usura del mondo' (Elèuthera, €15). The collection 'Lucio Fontana. Origini e immaginario' (Fondazione Lucio Fontana, open access) compiles 20 papers from a conference held in 2024 that focused on Fontana's art. 'Alberto Grifi: Corpo Collettivo' (Veii, €50) serves as a monograph on the Italian filmmaker. Christian Caliandro's 'Noi nel mondo' (Marsilio Arte, €24) explores the presence of Italian contemporary art internationally. Other notable titles include Myriam Bahaffou's ecofeminist work, 'Glitter su compost' (Effequ, €18), and Iain Chambers' exploration of migration in 'Lampedusa/Gaza' (Orthotes, €20).
