Student Olivia Skipsey Completes Museum Placement on Agricultural Heritage and Biodiversity

Olivia Skipsey participated in a summer student placement at Llandudno Museum from June to August 2021. During her internship, she worked on multiple projects including the 'Living History: Lockdown' exhibition, identified and interpreted agricultural artifacts for the Biodiversity Garden, and researched connections between farming heritage and environmental changes. She also consulted with professionals from the Home Front Museum and MOSTYN Gallery. Skipsey, who comes from a rural background, developed exhibit proposals linking historical agriculture to biodiversity impacts and collaborated with another student on display design.
