Spring Exhibition at Rio Bravo Fine Art Features Dina D'Argo's Themed Works

Rio Bravo Fine Art in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, is hosting a spring exhibition titled 'Running with the Wolves' by artist Dina D'Argo, which opened on March 14 and runs through May 24, 2026. The show explores themes of the divine feminine, resilience, and connections to nature, inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estes' book 'Women Who Run with the Wolves,' as well as D'Argo's personal healing journey and engagement with animal spirituality. D'Argo's background includes a childhood in coastal San Diego, involvement in Hollywood's punk scene, a fashion design career with a clothing line sold across the U.S., and a shift to full-time art after a horseback riding accident in California's Sierra Foothills led to injuries. She later moved to Hawaii's Big Island near the Wao Hele O Puna rainforest, where she recovered and studied with Hawaiian spiritual practitioners, beginning her professional art career in 2004. The exhibition features diverse styles, including dreamlike landscapes and bold representational pieces with graphic elements, reflecting her exploration of new artistic directions. D'Argo's works have been displayed globally, recently featured on a streaming service, and she now lives in rural Southern New Mexico with her husband and animals. Rio Bravo Fine Art, in its 28th year, occupies a 6,000-square-foot space in the Historic Hot Springs District, showcasing contemporary artists and legacy collections.
