Spring 2026 Photography Exhibitions Spanning Fashion, Identity, and Global Perspectives

This spring, a variety of photography exhibitions are set to launch worldwide. At New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lillian Bassman's works from the 1940s to 1960s will be on display until July 26, 2026. The National Portrait Gallery in the UK features Catherine Opie's retrospective until May 31, 2026. From April 16 to September 19, 2026, Nhu Xuan Hua's exhibition will be held at Autograph. In Paris, Martin Parr's climate-themed show at Jeu de Paume is open until May 24, 2026. Additionally, Deborah Turbeville's photocollages will be showcased at Moderna Museet in Malmö from May 2 to September 27, 2026. Other notable events include Lin Zhipeng (No.223) at Fotografiska Shanghai until June 14, 2026, and the Kyotographie festival in Kyoto from April 18 to May 17, 2026. Berlin's Bauhaus Archiv will present 'New Woman, New Vision' from April 17 to October 4, 2026, while Johny Pitts's 'Black Bricolage' is at La Maison Européenne de la Photographie until May 24, 2026. Finally, Peter Hujar's 'Hujar:Contact' will be at New York's Morgan Library & Museum from May 22 to October 25, 2026, and Inez and Vinoodh's exhibition 'Can Love Be a Photograph' is running at Kunstmuseum Den Haag through September 6, 2026.
