Spring 2026 Fashion Exhibitions Span Schiaparelli, Antwerp Six, and Met Gala Blockbuster

This spring, major fashion exhibitions are opening globally. The Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington launched 'Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art' on 28 March 2026, focusing on Elsa Schiaparelli's Surrealist legacy. MoMu – Fashion Museum Antwerp presents 'The Antwerp Six' from 28 March 2026 to 17 January 2027, featuring works by six designers. The Bowes Museum in Durham showcases 'Vivienne Westwood: Rebel – Storyteller – Visionary' until 6 September 2026. Vienna's Museum of Applied Arts hosts 'Helmut Lang: Séance de Travail 1986-2005' until 3 May 2026. Paris's Azzedine Alaïa Foundation extended 'Azzedine Alaïa and Christian Dior' until 21 June 2026. V&A Dundee presents 'Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show' from 3 April 2026 to 17 January 2027. New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute will open 'Costume Art' on 10 May 2026.
