Spoke Art Announces Twelfth Edition of The Moleskine Project Exhibition

Spoke Art has revealed plans for the twelfth installment of The Moleskine Project, a recurring group exhibition that invites artists to create works within Moleskine sketchbooks. The show features contributions from numerous emerging and established creators worldwide, with each participant receiving a blank notebook to produce original pieces. Artistic approaches range from graphite drawings and plein air paintings to paper sculptures and embroidered portraits, offering intimate insights into individual practices. Originally launched in 2011 and co-curated for many years by Rod Luff, the exhibition began at Spoke Art's former Sutter Street location in San Francisco. It has since been presented at venues including One World Observatory in New York City, Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in Arizona, the Worldwide Walls festival in Honolulu, Moniker Art Fair, and Brick Lane in London. Three hardcover compendium books have documented previous editions. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, January 11th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, free to all ages. The exhibition will remain on view through February 15th, with gallery hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The venue is located at 1275 Minnesota Street in San Francisco, California.
