Specific Gallery Launches 2026 Program with 'Incarnato' Exhibition Exploring the Contemporary Body

The Milan-based gallery Specific has inaugurated its 2026 contemporary art program with the exhibition 'Incarnato,' curated by Davide Giannella. The show features artists Beatrice Favaretto and Andrea Pozzato, who examine the human body as a site of tension, relationship, and transformation. Located within the BiM (Bicocca incontra Milano) urban regeneration project in Milan's Bicocca district, the exhibition runs as the first of three planned for the year. Favaretto's work investigates visual ambiguity and the circulation of images, while Pozzato employs drawing to explore physical presence. The exhibition aims to stimulate critical engagement with themes of sexuality, gender, and intimacy without providing definitive answers. Two additional exhibitions curated by Giannella are scheduled for April and September 2026.
