SPAN Architecture, a New York-based firm, has completed a distinctive design project for Smile House Tribeca, a multi-specialty esthetic dentistry practice led by Dr. Jonathan B. Levine. The architectural approach transforms the typical dental clinic experience by incorporating hospitality elements, creating an environment that resembles an upscale lounge rather than a medical facility. The design features amber color tones, custom metallic finishes, and Corian cabinetry to achieve a sophisticated aesthetic. SPAN Architecture developed a biophilic concept for the space, focusing on wellness and health themes through strategic lighting and natural materials rather than direct natural references. This project represents an innovative fusion of healthcare design with hospitality principles, challenging conventional expectations for dental office environments.
