Spain's Court of Auditors Flags Fire Safety and Inventory Issues at Reina Sofía Museum

The Spanish Court of Auditors has identified deficiencies in the fire safety systems and inventory management at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. A report published in the BOE on Tuesday calls for the museum to update its registry and modernize the valuation of Historical Heritage assets by December 31, or face the dismissal of director Manuel Segade, as urged by the Joint Commission. The museum has stated it is already working on solutions.
