Somesuch Editions Turns Novels Into Film-Style Book Trailers
Somesuch Editions, the publishing division of Somesuch, specializes in fiction enhanced by "visual blurbs" and cinematic trailers. Established by Tim Nash and Sally Campbell, this London-based studio ventured into fiction publishing in 2025 with Kimberly Campanello's erotic romance, Use the Words You Have, followed by Cenac Rollins' Now Burns Blue in 2026. Each book showcases art-driven covers: Use the Words You Have features a photograph by Nanténé Traoré, while Now Burns Blue displays a painting by Georgia Semple. The trailer for Now Burns Blue was directed by Frankie Spence, and Zaineb Abelque directed the trailer for Use the Words You Have. Creative director Phoebe Gardner seeks to make reading more approachable. Previously, Somesuch Editions published magazines and photobooks related to its filmmakers.
