Sofía Moreno's 'Creciendo entre grietas' exhibition explores ecofeminist repair at CCR

At the Centro de la Cultura del Rioja (CCR) in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain, Sofía Moreno Domínguez showcases her exhibition 'Creciendo entre grietas' until May 10, 2026. This display, part of the CCR's 'Sustratos' initiative, highlights ecofeminist themes through a variety of mediums including photographs, paintings, collages, embroidery, and sculptures crafted from recycled materials. Born in 1995, Moreno employs embroidery as a means to mend visual fractures and integrates ceramic paper into her work. The exhibition features pieces awarded by the Logroño City Council's 2024 artistic creation award, along with new works for the Sala Mar de Palabras at CCR. Moreno, who earned her PhD from Universidad de Deusto, has garnered several accolades, such as the SYLFF fellowship in 2022 and being named a Changemaker in 2024.
