Skyfold Launches Classic™ Premium Vertically Retractable Acoustic Partition

Skyfold has launched the Classic™ Premium, a vertically retractable partition system that combines high acoustic insulation with a design that disappears into the ceiling. Unlike conventional horizontally sliding partitions that require floor or wall tracks, the Classic™ Premium deploys from a ceiling pocket, leaving the floor entirely unobstructed. The system uses pantographs and suspended panels, reaching ceiling heights up to approximately 10.36 meters with unlimited widths. It is rated up to STC 51 for sound isolation, and some models achieve NRC values up to 0.65 for sound absorption. The built-in ceiling closure panels conceal the pocket when the wall is lowered, making the partition seamless. The system is suitable for offices, education facilities, hotels, cultural venues, law offices, auditoriums, and hospitality spaces, and can adapt to sloped or stepped floors.
