Signed Paul McCartney book from charity shop fetches £950 at auction

A copy of 'Paul McCartney In His Own Words', signed by Sir Paul McCartney, sold for £950 at Bonhams after being discovered in an Oxfam shop in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. The book was donated as part of a 1970s memorabilia collection and sat unnoticed for months until manager Joan Randle found the inscription. The signature reads 'All the best! to ye!' in black ballpoint pen. Proceeds benefit Oxfam's charity work, including an emergency appeal for the Venezuela earthquake. The donor remains unidentified.
