Shih Tzu Sisii Steals Spotlight at Fall 2026 Couture Shows

At the fall 2026 couture shows in Paris, a 9-month-old Shih Tzu named Sisii became an unexpected front-row fixture, attending seven shows including Schiaparelli, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Balenciaga, and Armani Privé. Owned by Poppy, a jeweler and investor and noted couture regular, Sisii wore custom outfits—including a red rhinestone dress at Schiaparelli, a pale pink pleated frock at Chanel, and a tiara at Gaultier—and was photographed by street style photographers. Poppy dresses her six dogs in natural fibers like cotton and silk for comfort; Sisii has a custom Gaultier look created by Franck Duquenne, the brand's haute couture director. Poppy, who collects Chanel pieces from Karl Lagerfeld's era and admires Matthieu Blazy's work, describes couture as "artwork" and "made for me."
